During 2002, methamphetamine comprised more than 82% of all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) drug arrests in Wyoming. During 2001, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) reported 42 arrests for drug violations in Wyoming.

At yearend 2002, there were 1,737 prisoners under the jurisdiction of state or Federal correctional authorities in Wyoming. At yearend 2002, there were 4,596 adults on probation and 570 adults on parole in Wyoming.
